Sessions

Tuesday to Friday 9:00 - 12:45
We are registered for up to 24 children, aged 3 to 5.

The Pre School holds four morning sessions a week. The children are given a drink of milk or water, plus a healthy snack during the morning.

We currently have sessions available.

Here is an example of how the morning sessions are structured:

09.00 Children arrive into the small hall, which has been set up with a variety of quiet activities, including construction, jigsaws & drawing. Activities are rotated daily. The register is taken.

09:30 Children and staff tidy up and wash their hands. Milk or water and a healthy snack is provided. Each child sits around their table with a member of staff and socialises while eating their snacks.

10.20 Children are called through to the large hall (which has been set up by the staff and parent on rota). This time is for free play. During this time, children are called through to the small hall to do craft and letter activities. The 4 year olds complete their activities.

11.25 Singing outside, weather permitting.

11:35 Storytime, letter of the week, Show and Tell.

11:45 Music & Movement, games, dancing.

12:00 Lunch (optional) or home time

12:45 Home time.

Fees

The fee per session is £8.50 (free from the term after your child turns 3 years old, subject to Wokingham District Council notification).

Children may attend up to 4 sessions per week, usually starting with less and increasing as appropriate for the child.

Payment

Fees are calculated per session and you will be charged in advance, before the start of each term. Fees should be paid before the term commences to secure your sessions.

If there are any difficulties in making payments, please speak to either the Treasurer or Supervisor. Arrangements can be made for weekly payments if necessary. Voucher funding is available for the term after your child has turned 3 years old, subject to Wokingham Borough Council notification.

The fees and vouchers do not include any 'party' sessions. These usually occur on the last day of each term. There may be an additional charge for each child who attends these sessions.

Unfortunately we operate on a tight budget and are obliged to charge the usual fee if your child is absent for any reason. We hope you understand our policy, as our basic costs remain the same, regardless of the number of children attending a session.
