“I love working at Barkham Pre-school because we are lucky to be surrounded by beautiful countryside and it is lovely seeing the children as they enjoy watching the deer & birds that visit close by. I really enjoy the interaction with the children as they play & learn and watch their development as they increase in confidence. I have recently attended ‘Block Play’ training and am looking forward to introducing our new ideas to the children, staff & parents.”

“I really enjoy working at Barkham Pre-School.  We offer a safe and supportive setting that plans and organises a wide range of learning and play activities for the children, giving them a great start in life.  When the time then comes for the children to go to ‘big school’ it’s so rewarding to see how far they have grown and developed, and that you have been part of that special and important journey.”

Qualifications: NNEB

“I like working at Barkham Pre-School because it has a friendly family feel, and it’s lovely watching the children grow and develop their own personalities.  I have always wanted to work with children and when I left school I got my NNEB qualification in childcare. Barkham Pre-School has lovely grounds and a fantastic outdoor area where it’s lovely to see the children make mud cakes, worm pie, or stir their potions in the outside sink!”
