There is a lovely family and community feel where we can really get to know all of the children and the ways they learn and develop. “I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend in Barkham Pre-school. We are fortunate to benefit from a fantastic environment. The external setting is lovely and the Pre-school has everything we need to help the children learn, develop and have fun. Seeing the children grow, and playing a small part in that, is incredibly rewarding. Nothing beats the smile of a child and as a parent myself I know the value of that. I'm very fortunate to have a job doing that I love."

Family involvement is therefore essential to the smooth running of the pre-school.

The committee employs the staff, who in turn are responsible for all the children in their care and the day-to-day activities.

Fund-raising, publicity and social events are also organised by the committee.

We are always in need of new parents to join the committee especially in the new school year, please email us for more information on joining:
